iPod Shuffle Workshop 7/9-7/13 July 9, 2018

This workshop is designed to embrace a gamut of musical styles in hopes of creating a means of helping newer musicians explore a variety of genres, as well as challenge experienced players to broaden their horizons. Because of this approach, all levels of experience are encouraged to join us for the week! Songs will be chosen based on students diverse interests and account for variations in their ability levels, but our incredibly talented and experienced instructors are fully equipped to get everyone participating AND having a blast no matter how new they may be to the stage. With this workshop, like many of our others, we’re committed to helping kids experience what playing in a band is really like, so portions of the latter days are dedicated to team building, poster design, album art, and the always daunting task of coming up with a band name. Students should bring their own snacks and lunches during the week, with the exception of Thursday when we will order pizza for all the kids. The workshop will conclude on Friday afternoon with a live performance of 6-10 songs at a local venue.
